Raisly exists to make those everyday parenting stressors easier to navigate. We create digital products and resources around one simple aim:

Not by telling families there is one right way to parent, but by making good information and professional expertise easier to find, understand and put into practice.
No family is the same
Children are different. Families are different. And what helps can depend on the child, their age and the situation. Something playful might help with getting out of the house but make bedtime harder. An approach that works for one sibling may do very little for another. We do not believe parenting support should be one-size-fits-all.
Good guidance should adapt to the family, not expect the family to adapt to a parenting method.
That means helping parents understand their options without reducing children to fixed types or suggesting there is one perfect approach.
Why Raisly exists
Raisly was founded by Katy Rea, MSc Psychology, after becoming a parent herself. Becoming a parent made one problem especially obvious: there was no shortage of parenting information. The difficult part was knowing what to trust, what actually applied to your child and what to do with it in real family life. Raisly grew from that problem. We bring together psychology, professional expertise, thoughtful design and carefully used technology to create products that are genuinely useful in family life.
Psychology without the branding exercise
Parenting can already be confusing enough. We do not want to make established psychological ideas harder to understand by giving them new branded names or presenting them as proprietary discoveries. Where an established term is useful, we will use it. Where everyday language is clearer, we will explain the idea simply.
We are not trying to trademark psychology. We are trying to make it useful. Parents should not need to learn an entire parenting philosophy before they can get support.
Connection, boundaries, choices, structure and play do not belong to Raisly. Our job is to bring useful ideas together carefully and help parents work out what may fit their child, family and situation.
Built responsibly
Trustworthy support is not just about what we say. It is also about where the guidance comes from and how it is delivered.
Raisly's products are developed with relevant professional expertise, including psychologists and other qualified specialists where appropriate. We aim to be clear about who has contributed to our guidance and how it has been reviewed.
Technology can help make parenting support easier to navigate, but it should not replace carefully developed guidance.
The technology helps find the guidance. It does not invent it.
We also take privacy seriously, consider carefully what information our products actually need, and will not present ordinary childhood behaviour as a diagnosis or make promises the evidence cannot support.
Built for families
We are building Raisly in the way we would want products for our own families to be built. Carefully. With professional input. With thoughtful use of technology. With respect for privacy. And without pretending we have invented a new way to parent. Different Raisly products will tackle different parts of family life, but the aim will remain the same:
